People
We believe in rewarding hard work, treating all people fairly, and doing business only with suppliers who demonstrate ethical business practices. That’s why—for 20 years—we have worked closely with the Norfolk-based Second Chances program to employ formerly incarcerated, non-violent men and women. Most of our staff have been with us for more than a decade. We’re a family-owned business that treats everyone like family.
Planet
There is no greater responsibility to future generations than protecting our planet and our health. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and to using environmentally friendly materials of the highest quality. From our lean and green manufacturing processes to our sustainable product design, we strive to make the best choices for our planet and our health.
Process
All of our mattresses are made in the USA. Not only does this keep jobs in our communities, but shorter shipping distances contribute fewer CO2 emissions to the atmosphere. Our state-of-the-art factory utilizes energy-efficient lighting, molding stage automation, and multi-stage washing to optimize energy use and minimize water consumption. All discarded and scrap materials that are not re-used in the factory are recycled.
Product
Our mattresses are built for you, not for the landfill. With our product warranty, they will provide you with restorative rest for years and years.
Sustainable design means our beds are made from recycled and sustainable materials. These fibers provide excellent body temperature regulation, reducing the energy used to heat or cool your home while you sleep.
We use natural GOLS, made from natural, biodegradable materials sourced from renewable resources. Our natural latex is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, ensuring that it is free from chemicals harmful to humans and that environmentally harmful substances were not produced by the manufacturing process.
