The Most Comfortable Beds in the World

Since 1904, British bedding manufacturer Hypnos, now run by the fifth generation of the Keen family, has used only the finest natural materials to make the most comfortable beds in the world. This unparalleled experience means they have refined and conquered what makes beautiful sleep, tailored to personal comfort and styling.

Combining traditional skills with constant innovation, using only the finest natural, sustainable materials is what creates the most comfortable beds in the world.  Each bed is made to order and handcrafted, ensuring a Hypnos masterpiece.

As a holder of the Royal Warrant since 1929, Hypnos’ philosophy focuses on the pursuit of perfection and the delivery of a deep, energizing night’s sleep, helping to fulfill dreams for a healthy life.

Featuring the Nature's Reign & Royal Grandeur Collections

The Hypnos Royal Warrant
Hypnos holds a Royal Warrant for HM Queen Elizabeth II for bedding and upholstery manufacturers and is the only luxury bed maker to actively supply the Royal family, Royal Household and the Royal residences. A Royal Warrant demonstrates the very highest standards in excellence, quality, service, and innovation. Hypnos has held Royal Warrants continuously since 1904.

100% Sustainable Mattresses
Hypnos beds contain no polyurethane foam and utilize only natural materials. Recycled steel and exotic components such as Natural Latex, Camel, Horse Hair, JOMA® Wool, and Alpaca Wool make Hypnos beds good for you and the environment.

Advanced Spring System
Each Hypnos mattress is made with the exclusive advanced steel encased Joey Coil design.  The exterior coil provides an initial comforting feeling, responding to weight and body movement. The interior coil, once engaged with body weight, reacts with increasing firmness, providing the essential support characteristics needed for correct postural alignment.

Exotic Fibers
Generous natural exotic fillings are the essence of Hypnos, with layers of cotton, horse hair, wool, JOMA® Wool, Alpaca and Camel creating remarkable feels. Rest assured knowing only the finest natural materials are used.

The Ultimate in Custom Comfort*
Because sleeping partners may not always agree on how to define comfort, the Hypnos zip and link service allows the joining together of two mattresses with different spring tensions to suit the comfort preferences of each sleeping partner. The divans are discreetly linked at the head and foot with a chrome link bar, and the mattresses are zipped together along their full length for easy and fast conversion.

Hypnos zip and link service also allows the splitting of a large bed into two single beds, making it easy to place a large bed where there are access issues such as a narrow staircase or a low ceiling.

Available in specific models only.

Handmade in the U.S.A.
Every Hypnos bed sold in our stores is proudly made in the U.S.A. The most luxurious models are hand side stitched, a traditional and labor intensive process in which the sides of the mattress are sewn in rows to hold in the fillings. Side stitching extends the sleep surface of the mattress by giving it proper support right up to the edge.

A Style All Your Own
Consider the design options. Choose a fabric covering for your Hypnos headboard and divan from a swatch of fabrics and pick between leg options to make your Hypnos bed unmistakably yours.
